Infomercial : the most adapted format for the 50+ 
It is not easy to communicate with the over 50s. They are demanding consumers, given to scepticism and not likely to be deceived by tricks.

There is a solution to winning over and reassuring the over 50s; this is the 'infomercial', an American neologism from 'information' and 'commercial'.

This type of advertisement has developed strongly in the USA over the past fifteen years with the rapid growth of cable and local TV. With vast amounts of airtime to fill that the big national advertisers were not interested in, these stations were happy to find companies ready to produce long messages promoting a product and with a green number allowing the viewer to order the product immediately.
Senioragency was the first advertiser to have introduced this new format in France in 1996, followed by Senioragency's networks in the rest of Europe.
