Francisco José González (Paco) is one of the best known Spanish advertising agency professionals. He spent most of his 34 years in advertising, managing Grey in Spain, Portugal and the North of Africa. When he joined the agency, it was at the bottom of the Spanish ranking, leaving it, in 2001, as one of the top five communications groups in the country.

He has a long and deep experience in handling both domestic and international business, including Procter & Gamble, Mars, Glaxo SmithKline and British American Tobacco.

Paco founded, together with a small group of industry principals, the Spanish Advertising Self-Regulation Body (Autocontrol) and is an active member of its Executive Comitee.
From 1998 to 2002, he was the Chairman of the Spanish Advertising Agencies Association, after beeing its Executive Vicepresident the previous four years.

Since 2002, Gonzalez is the Director General for Spain of FIAP (Ibero-american Advertising Festival), the most relevant annual advertising event in Latin America.

Paco Gonzalez runs currently his own business, Gonzalez Arias & Partners (G A P), an innovative group of companies covering all communication and marketing activities and services.
